During 2012, I lived in a little grey apartment in Burwood, with a friend named Annie- someone who I met accidentally 7 years prior, but who quickly became a very good friend. I will always hold in my mind just how fresh and young and childish we were. This, alongside the view of the sunlight through those windows is the scene that defines my memory of Park Avenue

Home for the Holidays

The following are a collection of photographs taken between December 2011 and March 2012, documenting my summer break. During the time these were taken, I had a great attachment to my home town and was wishing to compile a small treasury of images to take with me when I would return to Sydney where I was studied and now reside. I included images of my bedroom, friends and neighbours, my mother, her workplace and the Eungella Range.

Blue Hush
AUGUST 2011
I spent much of 2011 missing home and my mother and feeling very nostalgic. This particular afternoon was filled, as I recall with a strange feeling of being transported to the Sydney of my childhood and was content to feel quiet and thoughtful.
